Purpose of Position
Based out of Singapore office, responsible for general ledger accounting and financial books maintenance for the Singapore legal entity with reporting line into Financial Controller, SEA

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Support Financial Controller in ensuring timely submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting including variance analysis 
  • Manage all inter-companies matters, eg. cross-charging, interco balances settlement,  balances confirmation, etc
  • Sales and inventory reports maintenance
  • Review of AR and AP entries
  • Manage all balance sheet accounts reconciliation
  • Fixed asset register and depreciation management
  • Tax matters, including review of corporate tax & GST reporting
  • External and internal audit matters
  • Cash flow management
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements


Professional Accounting qualification or Degree in Accounting / Finance.

  • Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in commercial organization. 
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and Tax (GST, WHT and Corporate Income Tax) preferred.
  • Computer Skills Required: Proficient in Hyperion Financial Management System, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred, though not a must), Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Word and Excel.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented and meticulous.
  • Proactive, self-motivator with good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to ensure compliance of all regulations across the business.
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
