The Scientist I Reagent Manufacturing performs a variety of laboratory duties.   This position is located in Hialeah. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Manufactures fine particle products under a regulated environment by means of electronic batch records. Technician prepares and tests production and pilot reagents according to written procedures and protocols.
  • Performs In- Process testing and calculations of Flow/ Particles products to determine acceptance criteria ranges by means of instrumentation such as Flow cytometer, FC-500, Navios, Spectrophotometer, and Multisizer 3 and 4.
  • Compile and analyze test information to determine process or equipment operating efficiency and to diagnose malfunctions
  • Daily usage of the electronic batch record to manufacture Flow Cytometry products. Individual must be proficient in Excel.
  • Handles other assigned projects for process improvement, Instrument troubleshooting and Standard Work for daily/Weekly lab activities.
  • General understanding of laboratory practices by using GLP, GMP, and overall FDA compliance.
  • Individual must be able to multitask effectively and to work in a teamwork environment. 
  • Drives Continuous Process Improvement and contributes technical expertise and direction for root-cause analysis, implementation and sustainment.
  • Collaborates with departments and colleagues within and outside of Production, including, but not limited to, Manufacturing Technical Operations, QC, QA, Development, Engineering, etc.
  • Perceptive to changing priorities in fast-paced dynamic environment and ongoing assessment of impact to business and meeting customer needs.
  • Work with electronic manufacturing files daily to record manufacturing of products under an FDA-Regulated requirement.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, or related & with at least 2 yrs experience working in an FDA regulated environment laboratory. 
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance, stand 6 to 7 hours a day and move materials in and out of a 2 to 8 degrees refrigerator 2 to 3 times a day.
  • Proficient in Excel is a MUST, Microsoft Word, and general Microsoft software.
  • Fast learner in a Fast-pace environment. Work overtime when necessary.
