Description

The Sales Operations Specialist will be supporting the Special Markets SLA team and other internal partners to help drive sales and support our customers. Some key functions include but are not limited to account research, data clean up and consolidation, generating quotes and invoices, auditing quotes and invoices, resolving customer issues, and assisting other internal teams as it relates to sales.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research accounts and make updates to accounts, contracts, quotes, or invoices as needed
  • Generate or audit quotes, invoices, and notices with a high sense of urgency
  • Support Special Markets customers and sales teams with account research
  • Respond quickly to requests from customers and internal teams
  • Respond quickly to escalation requests either by solving the problem or by identifying who can solve the problem and ensuring follow-up and execution
  • Be the backup for Customer Service functions as needed
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and work with managers to prioritize and implement
  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
  • H.S. Diploma/Equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in Customer Service, Account Management, and/or Payment Processing
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in ERP and/or CRM systems preferred
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communications Skills
  • Excellent Collaborative Behavior Skills
  • Technically capable and excellent communicator
