  • The Global Sales Compensation Analyst is a key data-driven position that is responsible for incentive compensation processing, reporting, and system support functions for assigned teams within our global commercial organization. The sales compensation crediting process is a data intense function in which in there is a need to for data accuracy and attention to detail. This role requires an individual who is a self-starter, able to work in a team environment, detail-oriented with demonstrated problem solving skills. This individual must be capable of being flexible and have the ability to apply critical thinking. This Individual will collaborate extensively within Global Commercial Operations on sales compensation automation projects and will partner cross-functionally on performance and payout calculations.

  • Primary Responsibilities 

  • Delivers accurate and timely reporting of Sales Performance activities. Works with Manager to help improve overall team success by assisting with performance analysis.

  • Participates in the performance and payout process for the direct sales, service and support teams. This includes understanding and applying the commission plan consistently and ensuring calculations comply with the plan

  • Provides plan overview and recommendations regarding exception requests and policy questions

  • Researches and resolves crediting and commission questions, including calculating and processing adjustments in the commission system

  • Participate in preparing quarterly commission accruals for the Finance team.

  • Delivers training, commission policy and process and related documentation to the teams supported. Assists with various Ad Hoc projects related to incentive compensation reporting and analytics.

  • Utilizes strong IT background in preparing automated solutions for above activities.  Responsible for automation documentation, trouble-shooting and system testing.

  • Secondary Responsibilities

  • Continually develops skills through participation Danaher Business System’s training program

  • Helps build strong working relationship with Global Colleagues in order to implement best practices. 

  • May represent the Sales Comp function at the request of the group manager for certain DBS interactions (Kaizen, PSP, Bowler etc.)

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales compensation procedure, data analytics, and system implementation.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong PC/technical skills (Excel, Power BI, etc.); experience utilizing a sales compensation software
  • Experience creating reporting dashboards and management reports’
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks, establish appropriate priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where adaptability is imperative
  • Job duties are performed in an office environment
