We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer to support our growing business.

Position Objective: 

We are urgently seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team initially on a contract basis. This will be in the beginning for 6 months to cover long term absence with a view for it to be possibly be extended if required.

In this position role you will lead, drive and manage your region and sales objective, support and grow the Aftermarket in Spain and Portugal for chemical and refinery market, working with Direct end User & distributor in the region in coordination with the Internal and international Pall Team, for the Pall FTAP Business Unit.

Your skills and technical expertise will contribute directly to our success and play a key role in our team supporting our customers in the chemical and refinery markets.


Role and Duties:

  • Active listening to customer for building strategic prospecting skills
  • Generate increased sales from established accounts through After Market products
  • Keep customer Installed Base updated from customer feedback
  • Seek customer feedback regularly to verify satisfaction
  • Manage, track and follow up on leads and quotes, maintaining an active CRM & sales funnel
  • Develop and achieving a sales plan to achieve projections.
  • Build up a long term relationship with customer by proposing proactively Technical Solution and answering filtration and service needs.
  • Establish a close collaboration with other departments supporting to ensure the delivery of proposal and solutions to the customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide weekly report on sales activities and outcomes and monthly outcomes estimations. 

Job Requirements


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Academic degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Sciences or equivalent

  • Experience in sales, valuable in industry technical components or capital equipment

  • Valuable experience in the refinery, polymer or chemical industry.

  • Empathy, need to conquer and good communication skills for advisory sales

  • Good communicator in Spanish & English (oral and written)

  • Target driven

  • Work well alone and as part of a team

  • Self-motivated

  • Willingness to travel (drive license)
