Here is your chance to bring new products and features to the market. You will take the lead of important global projects in R&D  where your main task together with your team is to plan and  execute the steps required, while having  a strong awareness of how to mitigate project risks. In collaboration with international stakeholders across the organization, you team up with talented R&D, RA, QA, Operations and Marketing colleagues to help Radiometer’s vision of helping caregivers making diagnostic decisions that save lives. 

R&D and New Product Development

You will join a newly reorganized department in R&D focusing solely on New Product Development (NPD). Signe Lagoni is the Senior Director for NPD and you get to report directly to her in this position. Along with the R&D Program Director you are one out of two Project Management experts excelling in the use of classical project tools and getting commitment and performance from the involved stakeholders.

Resources, time and scope

Get ready to establish and execute on project strategy including Masterplan, budget & associated timeline for the project to ensure a successful product launch within a relatively short period. On a day-to-day basis, expect to be involved in the following processes and decisions:

• Project strategy and scoping, what and who is needed internally or externally to

• Drive the product launch in line with our product platform and in collaboration with other R&D-, RA-, QA-, Operations- and Marketing colleagues

• Follow-up on plans and mitigate when necessary

• Stakeholder alignment by defining clear roles & responsibilities for project team members & sub teams.

• Project Risk management). Do we need to front load activities or postpone anything to ensure the project success

• Drive Problem solving processes when issues are identified

The international character of the job takes you travelling approximately 15 days throughout the year.

In time, we expect you to participate in a broad range of projects, which can relate to all of our products, ensuring that there will always be new challenges awaiting you. Because you are a Project Manager with high standards for how to drive project excellence, you can also be an important ambassador for sharing best practices for driving projects.

Job Requirements


We believe that you have a technical educational background as an engineer or similar. This along with most of the following increases your chances of success in the job:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience with project management in a Medical Device company

• Abilities to work cross-functionally and understand the agendas in Marketing, RA, QA, R&D and the Production

• An energetic personality with flair for executing and keeping stakeholders engaged

• Internationally oriented with a people person mindset across all cultures

• Good business understanding

• Expertize in MS Office and similar project management tools

• Knowledge of LEAN principles

As a communicator, you are fluent in English and understand the importance of keeping relevant stakeholders timely informed while enthusiastically engaging them with your passion and perspective.
