DescriptionGENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Production Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of production operations. The Production Manager provides oversight to ensure processes and staff are operating efficiently and safely. The Production Manager supports DBS implementation through Standard Work, the Problem Solving Process & Kaizen event suggestions and participation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of Production Operations.
- Thorough recordkeeping.
- Follow appropriate EHS procedures and policy which may include the identification and proper handling of hazardous waste.
- Maintain communication with internal departments and plant supervision to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Understand and execute policies and procedures that emphasize product quality.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of plant operations and procedures.
SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain general housekeeping duties that provide for a neat, safe, and clean work area.
- Conduct training as specified under ChemTreat’s ISO-9000 program.
- Participate in corrective and preventative action practices as it relates to product quality, plant safety, and environmental compliance.
- Awareness of ChemTreat's EMS policy and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned, overtime as required.
