Description

To support and develop production assembly and test processes so that the quality of shipped product meets all the relevant design and regulatory requirements.

Your role includes:

Support EHS and regulatory compliance

Drive and assist others in root cause corrective actions

Develop process control procedures

Introduce and control short term and long-term engineering changes

Design and implementations of production jigs and fixture

Manage manufacturing based projects including capital expenditure

Develop plans for production optimisation through better work practices, automation 

etc

Assist with the development of production planning

Drive innovation for factory renewal and growth

Provide technical support to the Team Leaders and Manufacturing Manager

Engage with all associates to drive improvement

Provide leadership and support in ensuring production compliance with LBS 

manufacturing procedures


Job Requirements



Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent track record of process driven problem solving
  • At least three years’ experience
  • Ability to define and work to deadlines.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Motivation to drive manufacturing capability to worlds best standard
  • Proven ability to drive growth through innovation
  • Track record of working in cross functional teams in different environments 

Highly Desirable:

  • A sound understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in a medical device or similar business
  • Experience with high part count electromechanical product manufacturing.
  • Experience with world class product development and lean manufacturing.
  • Experience with MRP, BOMs structures and creation of routings
