Description

  • Analyzes, improves, and supervises different manufacturing processes looking to increase the Productivity, Quality and reduce scrap and time of delivery.

  • Compares specifications, Quality and customers requirements, and work instructions against what it is being done in the production floor. Uses this information to elaborate a diagnosis and propose improvements.

  • Organize, implement and maintain production process flow to maximize throughput and minimize space usage.

  • Initiates and participates in the thoughtful use of DBS tools; proactively makes recommendations for improvements and actively participates in relevant kaizen teams; strives to deliver highest quality output and collaborates with the team to deliver on shared goals.


Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related area.

  • Knowledge in processes improvements and route changes.

  • Experience in metal-working industry.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.

  • Six Sigma experience is a plus.

  • Fixture design is a plus.

  • 2+ years of related experience in Lean Manufacturing.

  • Strong written and oral English communication skills (85%.)
