Description

  • To lead planning and scheduling team and working together to
    achieve 95% OTD, optimal turnaround time and keeping the inventory with high
    turn over rate.







    * Coach and mentor staff within planning and scheduling
    group.



    * Lead efforts to improve on-time delivery, cost reduction
    and quality of all products and services.



    * Lead and run morning AM meetings effectively with tangible
    output



    * Establish clear procedures for the planning, purchasing
    and manufacturing of products for all product lines within the division. These
    include managing of forecasts, creation of purchase orders, execution of
    internal work orders and maintenance of schedules



    * Develop inventory forecasts and targets
    (monthly/quarterly/yearly)



    * Help achieve same day delivery goal for the operation
    (90%)



    * Help achieve inventory levels to a set target



    * Drive cost efficiency within the Supply Chain



    * Monitor KPIs and execute corrective action



    * Help planning and scheduling team to develop monthly
    production plans



    * Create and help facilitate a monthly Sales and Operations
    Planning (S&OP) meetings



    * Utilize capacity models to verify ability to deliver
    future production plans



    * Make recommendations to address capacity issues



    * Lead efforts to optimize inventory levels while
    maintaining customer service levels



    Collaborate with Purchasing and Marketing to find cost
    effective product supply solutions



    * Collaborate with Marketing and R&D on new
    commercialization efforts



    * Participate in plant performance and production cycle
    reviews



    * Contribute cost savings ideas

Job Requirements



Qualifications

1.    College graduate with Bachelor degree in supply chain, planning and/or  operations 
2. ERP and MRP experience 
3. Production cycle and Leadtime understanding 
4. Forecast and/or Supply planning experience 
5. Has been a leader for at least 3 – 4 years, Associates 2 or more years 
6. Analytical thinker 
7. Knowledge of lean concepts (including 5S, Kanban, etc)  
8. Strong working knowledge of MS excel 
9. Previous working experience in material planning required
