You will be responsible for monitoring and managing Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost performance of the Operations and Supply Chain organizations at the SenDx Carlsbad, CA site. Coordinate and manage daily manufacturing & supply chain operations activities that align with in-year and strategic business goals and objectives. You will also be the site operations and supply chain lead to drive improvements in year-over-year employee satisfaction survey results through appropriate employee engagement.

You will provide support and leadership to your departments and the entire organization in the Danaher Business System (LEAN) principles. Be responsible for leading the implementation of waste-reducing Kaizens in Operations and Supply Chain to include focusing on variation reduction in Operations and expanding the implementation of DMS (Danaher Material System) to drive Inventory optimization.

You will have significant leadership responsibility around cost management to include: Budget Adherence, PPV/VAVE/Indirect Material, Logistics, and Facility savings and Productivity Management including overtime.

Align with the Sr. Operations Director, to set yearly performance stretch-goals, then outline data driven goal-achievement plans, and manage the execution of the plans, balanced with daily performance management, to achieve the stated yearly goals.

Focus on Building Winning teams through appropriate expectation setting, coaching and mentoring, organization planning for short and long-term success, performance management and interviewing.

Job Requirements


  • BS in Engineering, Technology, Business or Supply Chain
  • 4+ years of Operations management responsibility
  • Supply Chain experience including planning & scheduling experience
  • Proven track record of metric success within a manufacturing operation
  • Demonstrated success managing manufacturing & purchasing savings and inventory goals
  • Prior experience utilizing lean methodology and tools to improve operations &/or overall business processes
  • Experience setting and managing to budgets and profit targets including productivity & labor cost
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Effective in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Prior Medical industry experience highly preferred
  • APICS or ISM certification (CPIM, CSCP or equivalent)
