Description

ChemTreat is looking for the right individual to step into our fast-paced, challenging environment as a Warehouse/Delivery Operations Manager in our Operations Transportation & Logistics team. As a key leader in ChemTreat operations team as well as key player in the Oil and Gas initiative, this position will be primarily focused on developing, implementing and expanding the requisite supply chain infrastructure throughout the US and Canada, to support ChemTreat's expansion into the Oil & Gas industry. Preferred candidates are those which have a proven record of creating, coordinating and managing Oil & Gas supply chains relative to warehouse and delivery for the Oil and Gas industry and can demonstrate successful project management and leadership. The position requires the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams that have strict deadlines and a determination to persevere through potential blocks. Additionally, travel to remote locations throughout the US and Canada is required. The position reports to the Manager, Transportation Optimization. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the cross functional Oil & Gas supply chain team execution efforts for startup and oversight of existing ChemTreat as well as partner warehouse and delivery partners
  • Develop supply chains solutions to warehouse, delivery and transfer hazardous flammable and non-flammable chemicals to client sites; some of which are remote or off-shore 
  • Work with sales, operations analysts and finance to provide information so that proforma models to determine investment strategies occur
  • Once proforma models are approved either through ChemTreat investment or partnership model, work to ensure costs align with proforma calculations and make recommendations after startup to improve ChemTreat's overall costs position
  • Work with commercial team and operations team to identify potential partners that align to oil and gas expansion needs. Help lead the negotiations of these partners and take a leadership role in insuring these partners meet the needs of ChemTreat Operations for the Oil and Gas initiative 
  • Monitor the performance of the supply chain from on-time shipment to on-time deliveries
  • Perform the necessary due diligence of potential suppliers
  • Develop audit program that ensures once partners of ChemTreat owned facilities are established that ChemTreat safety and operational guidelines are being maintained throughout all CT Oil and Gas warehouse and delivery networks
  • Supplier performance management and contract management
  • Negotiate supplier contracts with the assistance of Legal and Regulatory Affairs
  • Develop and manage the requisite budget
  • Research and recommend technologies that are applicable to advancing the Oil & Gas sector while also benefiting other modes of delivery

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) 
  • 5 years Oil and Gas industry experience, and
  • 5 years Logistics / Transportation / warehouse experience 
  • Current knowledge of industry trends
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and expanding Oil and Gas sector supply chain infrastructure
  • Experience identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic projects and resources required to support
