The NPI Project Manager is responsible for managing and executing new development projects in the field of dental implants and prosthetics with a dedicated cross-functional team.

He/she is accountable and responsible for overall project planning and execution from initiation phase until successful rollout to the markets according to Idea-To-Market/Design Control process, ensuring that project fulfils its scope on time and meets cost and quality targets.

He/she is responsible for ensuring effective collaboration between cross-functional team members as well as internal and external stakeholder management and alignment.

Job Requirements


Main responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned Projects/Programs

  • Guide project teams through the toll gate process ensuring successful milestone preparation

  • Plan and execute projects using applicable project management tools

  • Budget & resource planning

  • Project Risk Management

  • Go to market and product rollout strategy in early and late markets based on the regulatory clearances

  • Communication and presentation of the project status to the upper management

  • Ensure successful collaboration within cross-functional team, such as Product Management, Product Development, Software Development, Commercial stream, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Research etc.

  • Coordination of supplier management

  • Idea-To-Market process tailoring based on the project scope and needs.

Your profile: 

  • Solid experience for leading the project during all phases (Project Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closing) - min 3 years of hands-on experience

  • Experience in working with international cross-functional project teams in multi-cultural and international environment

  • Medical device product development experience, as well as knowledge of the relevant Regulatory landscape including FDA submissions

  • Commercial awareness

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • English written and spoken, German is a plus

  • University degree is a must, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Science or Business Administration
