Position Objective: 

To oversee the new product development life cycle relating to the initial assessment, design, development, manufacture, documentation & commercialisation of Pall Life Science new products.

An opportunity to join a growing Laboratory R&D team.

The role will cover all aspects of a new product life cycle including:
• Leading a cross-functional team to achieve project goals
• Converting product requirements into new product prototypes
• Developing and executing protocols for testing prototypes
• Validating prototypes via IQOQPQ
• Transferring new products into manufacturing sites in the UK and Internationally
• Supporting marketing with commercial launch
Role and Duties:

• Project management of all assigned project tasks with minimal supervision.
• Highlighting conflicts, predicting issues ahead of time and presenting mitigating plans.
• Leading weekly meetings to keep cross-functional teams on track.
• Creation of project technical files.
• Developing and executing cellular based test protocols.
• Generating and interpreting results.
• Writing technical reports and presentations.
• Effective communication of project status to management and other team members. 
• Completion and filing of laboratory documentation.
• Global travel may be required (up to 20% of time).

Job Requirements


BSc in Cell Biology (or similar), PhD or equivalent hands on experience preferred.
Experience in mammalian cell culture and development of protocols.
Data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Product Development experience.
