Description

For Videojet EMEA, we are looking for a Navision Dynamics Developer. This is a position where one person will be working fulltime at our organisation in Leerdam and in Limburg (Germany).
  • Be part of Enterprise Systems team in supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV as a team member and develop to become development lead.
  • Translate and implement business requirements into functional design documents for Microsoft Dynamics NAV add-ons, extensions and interfaces. 
  • Develop solutions to business issues and ensure effective support for standardization of Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions globally.
  • Perform Microsoft Dynamics NAV Application configuration setups, coordinate testing and user training.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safety – Follow and respect the company standards
  • Quality – Monitor and improve interfaces between Microsoft Dynamics NAV and extended applications.
  • Provide customer service to the assigned business groups and ensure that escalated operational needs are met.
  • Delivery – Deploy global projects and ensure successful execution in region.
  • Document clear requirements, prepare functional design documents, monitor project progress, and test solutions prior to release to users for further user testing. 
  • Coordinate testing with end users.
  • Support deployed Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions as well as additional enterprise systems such as Concur, ExpandIT
  • Cost – Support daily business activities, including month end closure and other routine needs.  Work with the global team to drive common best practices and standard solutions across Videojet.
  • Organisational Development – Prepare training materials and provide user training for new processes.
  • DBS/Lean – Continuously improve existing solutions and processes. Proven Root Cause Analysis skills is desired.

Qualifications

  • ALIGNMENT: Adherence to IT governance and follows the global standards and principles of the Videojet Enterprise Systems team.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or any related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics NAV developer.
  • Experience in program coding development with C/Side, C/AL and/or recent hands on application  support experience. Experience with at least two of the following Microsoft Dynamics NAV modules: General Ledger, Sales and Receivables, Purchase and Payables, Inventory or Service Management and ability to learn more modules.
  • Highly analytical mindset to provide hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, translating requirements to functional design documents and the development and execution of test. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Provide short-term, mid-term, and long-term solutions to business issues.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Any additional European language is a plus.
