Ormco works closely with orthodontists to improve existing products and develop new products primarily through its Champion programs in which selected orthodontists assist Ormco in designing, developing and ultimately educating users on new product and technique innovations.


Purpose of Position:

Responsible for the strategic development and execution/deployment of Ormco marketing initiatives resulting in profitable core business growth and market share expansion. Responsibilities span strategic marketing plan development, channel marketing, consumer-based marketing, digital marketing, marketing communications and events/tradeshows and all facets of outbound.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The main expectations from this role revolve around the areas of marketing management, team management and all other duties as required to maintain and grow business profitably within the assigned regions.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

•    Direct brand strategies for Ormco (covering conventional brackets, digital orthodontics, aligners, etc) with responsibilities of growing and nurturing brand performance.

•    Direct market research and consumer studies necessary to understand the detailed thought processes and consumer behaviors (segmentation, targeting and positioning)

•    Establish market presence, brand equity and training/education program in India.

•    Lead digital marketing strategy development and execution.

•    Directs marketing communications including design and adherence of brand standards, and all forms of external communications while complying with FDA and internal regulatory requirements.

•    Direct the overall educational events and professional courses marketing calendar for India.

•         Direct end user/consumer demand generation programs and all facets of lead generation.

•    Lead dealer marketing initiatives and push marketing tactics.

•    Direct campaigns, tradeshows and marketing events.

•    Responsible for overall marketing budgets and meeting/exceeding budget and forecast targets.

•    Responsible for talent management and development of marketing personnel, if any.

•    Analyze market trends and potentials and recommends changes, improvements, or deletions in brand strategies, demand generation and digital marketing.

•    Collaborate with sales team on price management and key account management.

•         Collaborate with global marketing team on marketing strategy and initiatives, education programs and product launches.

•         Perform duties in accordance with established quality standards.

•    Perform such similar, comparable or related duties as may be required.

Requirement for the Position

•         Education: Degree/Diploma in Marketing / Business or related discipline. MBA will be added advantage.

•         Experience: Min 8 – 10 years of relevant marketing, strategic development or product marketing experience in medical/dental device/consumables industry and/or consumer. Good Knowledge and experience with segmentation, positioning, distribution marketing, branding, marketing communications, digital marketing required.

•         Language Skills: Fluent English - oral and written.

•         Travel: Medium (30% to 50% in country).
