The primary role of this position is to provide technical support for manufacturing production equipment. The Technician identifies problems and implements corrective actions leading to continuous improvements. This role is responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production equipment, to include preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

Hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM-6:30 PM. Overtime may be required. Associate will work 36 hours but be paid for 40 hours.

  • Perform maintenance, installation, machining, and improvement tasks required.
  • Provide training and documentation as needed for end users.
  • Perform or coordinate review and calibration of equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting of problems.
  • Provide or request purchased tools and equipment as authorized.
  • Coordinate the implementation of tools, jigs, and fixtures as needed.
  • Some positions conduct machining of parts to support machine maintenance or Kaizen activities.
  • Coordinate and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate and complete preventive maintenance activities.
  • Participate on Kaizen Events.
  • Required to work off-shift or Saturday, as needed, to support production or to maximize up-time on machinery/processes.

Job Requirements


  • HS Diploma or Equivalent required; Associates Degree in related field preferred
  • 1 or more years related experience (i.e.: mechanical installation, machining, etc. as it relates to the job) in an appropriate manufacturing, engineering, or facility environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot/problem solve in a structured, logical manner.
  • Ability to read and comprehend drawings and other technical information
  • required to perform the assigned task work.
  • The ability to perform or coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
  • Combination of office skills and hands-on activities: required to lift and move
  • equipment and materials up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.
  • Ability to frequently work independently and have the ability to meet daily department goals

The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
