  • Maps each key account assigned by his management and ensures that engagement action plans are built and implemented for key stakeholders.

  • Develops productive and professional relationships with senior level in assigned customer accounts to identify synergies and opportunities to develop long term partnerships.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives (with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, or General Management)

  • Ensures accurate forecasting and budgeting. Apply value selling methods and Smart Pricing

  • Provides customer transparency (customer structure, LMS and competition position, customer’s own strategy and provide key-account requirements to LMS)

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

  • Proactively leads the strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three year period.

  • Actively involves local Sales Managers / Representatives and Application team at major account locations to define and implement account strategy.

  • Develops a joint growth strategy and grow funnel and revenue while penetrating all divisions of the account with the broadest possible range of LMS products and the value added LMS Solutions.

  • Builds tailored solutions for assigned customers.

  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing base.

  • Implements agreed price strategy globally, insuring price harmonization and avoiding internal price competition.

  • Drives optimum demo management, low inventory and cash collection.

Job Requirements



  • Scientific, Engineering, or related bachelor degree required,

  • Minimum 8-10 years of strategic selling experience in a B-to-B sales environment. Prior experience and solid track record as National Account Manager (or higher ) for a key account is required

  • Sales experience involving sales of high technology industrial microscopy products through direct sales and/or regional distributors is required.

  • Excellence in modern sales methods

  • Experience in working in an international environment and matrixed organization

  • Must have the ability to manage consistently to a common plan, providing sales leadership in the implementation of corporate sales strategies.

  • Requires fundamental leadership in sales management, opportunity assessment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
