Description

We are looking for a bright and energetic candidate to provide coordination of projects and configurations to a small IT team (2-5 people) in support of the fast-paced and innovative R&D department. The goal is to provide R&D department with effective configuration management and record keeping services, as well as development of automated solutions to support daily needs of R&D internal users. The ultimate goal will be to enable R&D for fast introduction of products to the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Project Coordination for the IT team
  • Help to translate long-term roadmap into specific projects, initiatives and tasks for the IT team
  • Coordinate work of the IT team and other collaborators on a weekly and daily basis, ensuring effective prioritization, planning, assignment of tasks and efficient execution
  • Ensure internal processes are followed and required records are created as expected by Medical Device product development environment (e.g. formal software validation)
  • Manage interactions with external stakeholders (e.g. report status, gather requirements, etc.)
  • Coordinate communications, training and deployment of solutions to the R&D internal users
Configuration Coordination for the R&D department
  • Track and monitor acquisition, assignment and usage of various department assets (computers, licenses, etc.)
  • Ensure configuration management process is defined and followed
  • Create and manage department formal and informal records in a variety of electronic records repositories (e.g. Confluence, SharePoint, Enovia, etc.)
  • Plan, monitor and control team’s budget

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Mandatory:
  • Bachelor of Science degree 
  • 3+ years of project management or project coordination experience in R&D or IT environment
  • Strong experience with Windows OS, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, PM tools 
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, networking, Active Directory, virtualization
Nice to have:
  • Education related to computer science, engineering, or IT
  • Project Management certification
  • Requirements management experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of scripting, database administration, security, Linux, etc.
General
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to details, ability to work with records for extended period of time
  • Strong communication and excellent collaboration skills
