The Mobile Developer is an integral position within Hach's Claros R&D team.

The Mobile Development Lead will be part of a fast-paced team, working in a collaborative environment that will drive the development of high quality mobile applications for the Claros platform.  He/she will help design, develop, and manage the iOS and Android applications, collaborate with other software developers and testers using the SCRUM process, and work with the product owner and architects to deliver.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop native applications for iOS and Android and understand the mobile technology stack
  • Lead technical direction of mobile applications
  • Work closely with global team members
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship and assistance to remote mobile development team
  • Own Planning and Refinement processes for the Mobile team
  • Review and approve technical implementation aspects of epics and user stories
  • Drive software quality by using early defect discovery and removal
  • Work on connected instruments to bring data into the SaaS offering
  • Ensure quality through unit and functional test implementation and execution
  • Analyze acceptance criteria and provide estimates of effort.
  • Work with Internal organizations, operating companies and external partners to facilitate integration activities
  • Work effectively within a team environment to implement projects in a timely manner

Job Requirements


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • Strong knowledge of iOS development and development tools
  • Strong knowledge of Swift, Objective-C
  • REST API experience, and familiar with native platform network APIs
  • 3+ years of proven mobile development experience
  • Unit Testing
  • Software design principles and patterns
  • Software development using Agile/scum process and methodologies
  • Take pride in writing clean dependable code with excellent support documentation
  • Strong ability to analyze problems and formulate effective solutions
  • Experience developing cloud-based software
  • Willingness to travel to facilitate development and release of applications at field locations
  • Self-directed, energetic, and enthusiastic. Fast learner. Technically competent
