The inside sales specialist position develops, maintains and interacts primarily utilizing the phone and other forms of electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers to increase sales of products and/or services. She/he will work in close collaboration with the area sales managers and account managers to support in those pre-sales activities that can be managed office based – namely offer/quotation generation and contract renewal for all portfolio


  • Contact partners through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars to communicate opportunities

  • Act as proactive communication partner for our IB and progress to lead generation follow up and self-generated offer generation

  • Work with commercial operations to develop account based utilization reports and prompt sales team on trend dynamics.

  • Support price improvement initiatives working together with Commercial Operations

  • Support transformative marketing by qualifying TM generated leads

  • Receive requests for price quotations of all portfolio product directly from customers, dealers and sales team on i.e. consumables, price agreement/negotiation, contract expiring dates

  • Use LMS Shop to transfer quotations made to SAP as an order as necessary

  • Use LMS Shop and SAP to retrieve customer information, stock status information, the status of purchase orders and to make changes on customer purchase orders

  • Work closely with Customer Care in order to give delivery information regarding products bought through inside person

  • Checking SAP information of his active orders and post activity such as change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments, and credit changes in order to have all information up to date

  • Provide customers with quotations within defined timelines

  • Support Clinical Microscopy and specific focus CM business, offering basic configurations to customers

Job Requirements



  • Previous experience of incoming and outgoing sales/marketing related function

  • 3/5 years of working experience within a customer service environment
  • SAP system /SAP order processing knowledge
  • Candidate needs to be native or fluent in English
