General Description:

The Human Resource Generalist Sr. is responsible for working closely with senior HR management to support operational and strategic Human Resources responsibilities in employee relations, training and development, performance management, the development and implementation of policies and procedures, operational reporting, and workforce analytics.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Talent acquisition activities for designated client group including the development and execution of search strategies in collaboration with hiring managers for a variety of exempt and non-exempt roles, including remote based roles
  • Associate advocate in the areas of associate engagement, training and development, and performance management
  • Support various associate trainings including the development, organization and facilitation of education sessions
  • Manage the associate exit process including documentation of internal approvals and actions, associate facing communications, and exit interviews
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
  • Assists in evaluation of reports and results against metrics of Human Resources department in relation to established goals
  • Support HR Management and assigned client group with employee relations and compliance matters
  • Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Maintain a high level of candidate care and administer the onboarding of new associates, including remote based associates
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Passion for supporting internal customers and a ‘drive to yes’ mentality

  • Highly computer literate and tech savvy, including experience with cloud based tools

  • Moderate excel skills including logical, data, and text functions required; ability to build Dashboards preferred

  • Excellent communication skills with associates at all levels to influence and maximize problem resolution in complex situations

  • Strong organizational and cross functional project management skills

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • The ability to maintain confidential information


Educational and Experience Requirements

  • BA or BS degree highly preferred

  • 5 + years’ experience within Human Resources function; experience may include Human Resources experience outside generalist work such as Talent Acquisition or Benefits

Physical Demands:

-            May require longer work days & varied schedule

-            The employee may be required to sit, stand and/or walk for long periods of time
