Description

This is an excellent Full-Time Contract (12+ months)opportunity for a Global Support Application Specialist to be part of a talented team who provides exceptional support service globally. 
Key responsibilities of this role include: 
  • Conduct daily/weekly reviews and classification of complaints related to application support
  • Provide timely phone and e-mail application support to the sales regions and channel partners 
  • Derive data from the CMS to drive product improvements and capture of quality issues.  
  • Represent application support interest on product development.
  • Develop support plans and troubleshooting guides for new and current products
  • Develop, maintain and deliver applications training and troubleshooting for current and new products  (working closely with product management)
  • Provide level 3 (factory based) application support to the sales regions
  • Provide level 1 (Help Desk) and Level 2 (onsite) application support to BU channel partners
  • At the request of the channel support manager, aid in installations and demo of instruments at distribution sites
  • Help manage and resolve major escalations anywhere in the world.  Travel may be required at short notice.
  • Help coordinate and maintain training schedule for the Application products, including process improvements and standardization of training packs.

Highly Desirable:

  • Previous knowledge or experience in medical equipment 
  • Previous experience with FDA  and/or ISO standards
  • Histology or scientific Background
