Description

Purpose of the Position:



  • Increase Videojet market share and revenues in targeted strategic accounts by establishing Videojet as their preferred supplier of our entire line of coding and marking solutions. 


  • In alignment with global contracts strategy by Account, create and follow-up specific account development plans to:


  • Expand MS into active accounts using full VJ portfolio protecting VJ installed base and replacing competitors’ one


  • Expand MS into competitors’ accounts


  • Leverage global success stories


  • Direct communication of Videojet value proposition, solution and product offers at the executive level in accounts.  Lead the negotiation of account partnership agreements including, contract and payment terms, pricing, leasing programs, warranty, service contracts and performance guarantees and commitments at headquarter locations and plant locations


  • Effectively deploy global account strategies at country levels (direct and indirect) via the Country Managers and the GSA team in the Region.

  • Key account planning and penetration – demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective strategies to maximize sales at large multi-national accounts.

  • Process orientation – demonstrated understanding and use of consultative selling approaches / ROI based selling


Experiences/Attributes (rank ordered)


  • Demonstrated track record as a sales/country manager who has delivered exceptional sales results at large multi-national accounts

  • Prior sales leadership experience in a complex technical selling environment (e.g. – packaging equipment, material handling equipment, factory automation, etc.)

  • Successful management in a complex “matrixed” organization.

  •  Examples of creating or working successfully in an established process oriented sales organization

 

Education


  • Engineering or technical undergraduate degree

  • MBA preferred
