Description

In this role you will be leading the Implant, Nobel Procera, Guided Surgery, Biologics/Regenerative related clinical study research team and represent Clinical Research for the Danaher Dental Platform. In addition to leading a team of clinical research associates and managers, you will be in charge of establishing and maintaining relationships with key experts




Main Responsibilities





  • Supervision of study protocols and ensure that studies are performed according to the highest standards


  • Optimization of general clinical research processes and secure updated procedures to regulations (e.g., ICH-GCP, relevant ISO standards)


  • Support of the clinical evaluation process


  • Securing that the clinical studies are optimized to support the launch of new solutions.


  • Make recommendation on studies that shall be used to support the product/solutions claims.


  • Responsible for the budget, site selection, resource planning and trial submission process of international clinical studies


  • Initiate and evaluate internal clinical research activities


  • Support development of global clinical research strategy and pursue efficient alignment


  • Secure that internal clinical investigations reflect the global strategy of the company


  • Optimise general clinical research processes


  • Secure that the procedures at the department for internal studies are continuously updated according to current regulations


  • Supervision of protocols and case report forms, which will provide adequate effectiveness and safety information


  • Assures timely completion of internal studies


  • Coordination of the preparation of manuscripts for scientific journals


  • Management and training of Systems-, Nobel Procera- and Guided Surgery related internal clinical research team


  • Motivating employees through behaviour and leadership abilities


  • Close collaboration


  • Close collaboration with NB and  R&S


  • Build up strong relationship to Scientific Affairs


  • Screening Scientific Literature

Job Requirements



Qualifications


  • Scientific background as well as experience within the Medical Devices field (ideally dental background)

  • Several years of experience of clinical research and regulatory processes

  • Proven team leader experience and leadership skills

  • Strong team-oriented

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Ability for coordination and planning of budgets, people and time management

  • Dedicated to improving results by integrating the DBS culture

  • Conscientious and precise delivery of work

  • Extended knowledge of the dentistry sector as well as Nobel Biocare Product or equivalent

  • Excellent in developing relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, alliance partners, external companies

  • Excellent communication skills and abilities to create partnership at all level of the organization

  • Excellent Quality orientation

  • Gives feedback and recognition

  • Encourages/accepts staff input

  • Addresses personnel issues

  • Excellent experience in managerial, technical and operational functions with a focus on planning, executing, reporting and publishing clinical studies within a medical environment

  • Ability to achieve goals while at the same time being cost conscious

  • Capacity to work on multiple project simultaneously and under pressure
