Description

The main purpose of this role is to ensure timely and consistent financial reporting to the parent company. New and existing reporting requirements need to be aligned to ensure proper accounting in SAP on entity level to allow for a high quality consolidation of actuals and outside SAP of the Financial Forecast, initially still in Excel. Forecast and actual closing will be moved to HFM in the coming 12 months.





  • SAP FI/CO alignment with consolidation requirements in COGNOS and reporting package master data,

  • Responsible for the review and approval process, as well as creation of GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers and intra-/intercompany suppliers/customers in SAP FI/CO,

  • Responsible to evaluate and ensure proper approval process for all Finance related IT helpdesk cases,

  • Gate keeper for opening and closing posting periods in SAP,

  • Finance contact/liason to technical SAP Team,

  •  Monitoring the group month-end closing and forecast process to ensure timely submission of all deliverables,

  • Be the central point of communication within Finance on group deliverables for month-end close and forecast,

  • Consolidate bottom-up financial forecast in Excel, until a forecast tool will be introduced,

  • Ensure SOX compliance within Group Financial Management Reporting process,

  • Ensure timely reporting  to parent company, including actuals, forecast, supplemental schedules (quarterly/yearly) and all statist.

Qualifications


  • Strong background in Finance processes and systems with knowledge in: Finance key processes, Finance reporting needs, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Controlling 

  • Conceptual, analytical and financial process modeling skills Experience in writing internal policies  

  • Presentation skills Strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to address issues and effect change effectively 

  • Self-driven and proactive attitude/work approach Strong communication and presentation skills also towards executive management

  •  Analyzing and gathering requirements from the business and discuss & evaluate solutions with IT 

  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems 

  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken), another language is a plus.
