Description

Job Summary:  The Digital Marketing Specialist is a key role that ensures there is a thoughtful email strategy for each of our customer profiles that spans across each of product offerings and business objectives. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate is a creative data driven marketer with proven track record in customer lifecycle marketing across with an emphasis on audience engagement, conversion, upselling, cross-selling and retention. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and execution of our customer email strategy as well as the ongoing qualitative and quantitative efforts to better understand our customers and the competitive landscape. This role will assist in defining the current customer journeys; driving deeper brand and product engagement reducing churn and increasing affinity and long-term customer value.


Essential Duties:
  • Drive the development and implementation of customer email strategy
  • Manage the design and own copy writing process for all email contents, graphics and landing pages
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure that email strategy coincides with big moments (e.g. Product Launches, Announcements, and Events with sensitive key dates) that align with the Implant Direct Business Strategies and Marketing Initiatives.
  • Regularly analyze data to look for opportunities for higher Open Rates, Click Through Rates, Conversions and AOVS.
  • Understand and perform against Implant Direct KPIs.
  • Report regularly on performance of Email Campaigns, Transactional Flows and Email Journeys designed within our Email Service Provider (DotMailer).
  • Work with Marketing Communication Department, Information Technology Department, Creative Teams, EDU Department, and Sales Team to ensure creative assets are regularly contemplated and executed to support the email strategy.
  • Use data to identify and target audience level insights and opportunities to inform creative strategies, content creation and product development recommendations
  • Leverage insights to develop sound fact-based marketing strategies and execution including testing and measurement that drive incremental ROI against business objectives and achieves customer retention and life time value goals
  • Partner with Internal Technical Sales Representatives (ITSR), Customer Service Representatives (CSR), Information Technology (IT) and Internal Data Analysis Team (IDA) to look for opportunities to drive a cohesive and consistent customer journey, message and experience.
  • Analyze current retention and subscription strategy and customer experience to develop and deliver a strategy to reduce subscription churn and improve LTV.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years email marketing experience required; dental/medical industry preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience specifically in the online/ecommerce channel required
  • 1+ years’ experience in HTML/CSS required
  • Familiar with Magento E-Commerce and Dotmailer Email Service Provider (ESP) preferred


Qualified Candidates will possess:

  • Excellent writing skills. A portfolio of writing samples will be requested.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills with experience presenting and communicating findings to a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience working in very lean teams where you may be responsible for everything in the job description for the foreseeable future.
  • Solid project management and organizations skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and unpredictable environment
  • Confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration in the organization
