This Electrical Engineering position represents assignment possibilities ranging from New Product Development (NPD) to Current Product Engineering (Sustaining designs in production).

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers from many other disciplines including Mechanical, Firmware, Test, and Chemists, to name a few.


Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Works with manager and program leadership to develop planned work that integrates into overall project plans; aligning on dependencies, deliverables, scope, schedule.
  • Work closely with mechanical, firmware, test, software engineers and chemists (among others) to design, implement, test, and verify solutions meet requirements.
  • Design and analyze electrical hardware circuits to achieve functional, reliability/quality, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Design electrical tests to verify performance of electrical hardware circuits and demonstrate insensitivity of the design to parameters including component and manufacturing variation, temperature, humidity, aging, corrosion, ESD, EMC, and vibration/shock.
  • Analyze and react to part obsolescence issues to sustain product availability.
  • Design and analyze electronic circuits including:
    • Analog
    • Digital
    • Interfaces/Busses
    • Processors, Microcontrollers
    • Mixed signal
    • High impedance
    • Power
  • Simulate electrical circuits/sub-systems
  • Schematic capture
  • Work with PC layout personnel to design PCBAs
  • Test and debug circuits and systems
  • Support manufacturing in building electronic instruments
  • Selection and qualification of electrical components.
  • Attend and lead Design Reviews with other engineers on program teams.
  • Compliance/EMC Testing

Job Requirements



  • Electrical Engineering:
    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years professional experience performing duties listed above.
    • Demonstrated experience and success in many of the job duties and responsibilities listed above.
  • General
    • Exemplary teamwork/collaboration skills
    • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
    • Quick learner
    • Independent, results-focused work ethic.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools (outlook, excel, word)
