Ormco believes the direct contact of its sales force with orthodontists facilitates the identification and verification of market trends and new product opportunities. Ormco works closely with orthodontists to improve existing products and develop new products primarily through its Champion programs in which selected orthodontists assist Ormco in designing, developing and ultimately educating users on new product and technique innovations.


Ormco is searching for a passionate, energetic individual to lead the Ormco’s Global eCommerce initiatives and the Creative Services Group.The main focus for the Director of eCommerce & Creative Services will be on successfully launching a brand new, global online store to drive online growth and improve back-office efficiency. We are looking for digital all-rounder with hands-on mentality on design and user experience, great organizational skills as well as broader, strategic thinking.   • Ownership of the eCommerce experience
  • Own online growth targets
  • Create and maintain a road map for the global roll-out of the new online store
  • Develop strong business cases and solid requirements in cooperation with business peers in Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Finance for new enhancements
  • Plan and execute digital campaigns to generate traffic to the online store
  • Conduct online surveys and focus group sessions with customers to understand their online needs and pain points
  • Develop a solid partnership with the platform’s IT group for efficient cooperation
  • Maintain the global online product catalog in cooperation with Global Marketing, Sales and Master Data Management teams
  • Conduct A/B tests to improve online conversion
  • Setup and monitor KPI’s to measure the success of Ormco’s online business and manage countermeasures when needed
  • Conduct daily management sessions to track success of all online activities
  • Regular updates to leadership team about eCommerce KPI’s and interpretation
  • Manage the internal and external creatives services/design teams
  • Travel expected to be less than 20% annually.

Job Requirements



  • Bachelors degree required; Marketing or Computer Science preferred
  • 8+ years working experience in design, digital marketing and eCommerce environment
  • 6+ years leadership experience managing digital/design teams
  • 6+ years experience creating websites  (UI/UX, design, use cases, CMS, SEO, etc.)
  • Proven success to drive eCommerce growth, preferably in a medical environment
  • 5+ years experience using web analytics tools to track and report on performance; Google Analytics preferred
  • 5+ years experience launching digital platforms
  • 5+ years experience testing an optimizing site digital/design to include user experience

  • Proven success in creating new brands and marketing materials, both traditional and digital, for new and existing products.
  • Proven success leveraging all consumer touch-points to build awareness, interest, and conversion.
  • Experience in managing an online store catalog
  • Experience in managing Magento or any other eCommerce platforms
  • Experience in managing CMS and elementary understanding of web technologies
  • Experience in working in a highly regulated environment (medical technology, dental)
