Description

This Director of Clinical Management position is responsible for the development and ongoing improvements to the global clinical protocols for Ormco Digital Products including Spark Clear Aligners and Insignia Custom Brackets. Part of this responsibility includes speaking/educating customers about product performance and clinical features, as well as curriculum/training material development for doctors and technicians on design techniques to achieve optimum results. Additionally, the Director of Clinical Management will participate in product definition and design reviews, along with performing the following duties:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Become a clinical expert on the use and performance capabilities of Ormco Digital Products, including Spark Clear Aligners and Insignia Custom Brackets
  • Review all clinical protocols and assist/train technicians on optimal case design techniques based on starting malocclusion, doctor preferences, device capabilities and desired final outcome.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and/or lectures to upper management and customers on Ormco Digital Products.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Education/Experience:
  • Required: Degree from four-year College or university in dentistry and follow on degree in Orthodontics.
  • Minimum 10 years in private practice in orthodontics.
  • Preferred: Class II Medical Device Experience.
  • Preferred: Minimum 5 years of experience with clear aligners and other digital orthodontic products.
Language Ability:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  
  • Ability to create audience-specific presentation content and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Computer Skills: 
  • Microsoft office suite.

Approximately 40-50% travel. International travel required.
