Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions: 
Accountable for the Acc Mass product line strategy and the execution of that strategy from Idea to EOL.  This person leads the product management team and establishes the relationship between the LC/MS business unit and Product Development organization. The role is accountable for the following areas: 
  • Product Line Strategy
  • Product Roadmap
  • Product line Revenue and Margin (sales and service)
  • 5 year revenue model
  • New product business Cases / NPV / Revenue realization
  • Pricing and discount schedule
  • EOL decision
  • Quarterly product line review

Job Requirements


  • Master’s or  Ph.D. Degree in Life Science, Business Administration or related field
  • 10 years relevant industrial experience 
  • 5 years product management experience within Life Sciences field

  • Proven influencing ability across all levels of an organization, including executive level.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently and through effective influencing
  • Strong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills and a firm commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to travel (internationally). Up to 30%
