The Process Engineer implements manufacturing methods and processes for the production of biomedical sensor consumable products. Responsible for driving continuous improvement in equipment, maintenance, training, processes, environment to reduce process variation and support gross margin improvements. Experienced in Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Process Capability, Statistical Process Control and formal problem Solving required, as well as creating and maintaining the Databases and Software Systems required in order to utilize these tools.

  • Responsibility > Measure of performance
  • Identify, plan and execute projects or modifications to current manufacturing procedures and processes to achieve capacity, cost, yield, reliability and/or cycle time improvements.  > OEE/Yield
  • Generates detailed written procedures (Standard Work with Visual Management) and specifications for processes, tools and equipment, including validations & revalidations (IQ/OQ/PQ) by assessing process capability (cPK) > Qualification/Validation
  • Responsible for recommending and applying DBS/ Lean manufacturing tools and measuring performance and progress resulting from implementation of these processes, specifically process variability reduction through standard work application > Process Efficiencies/Reduction of MUDA
  • Provide input into annual capital budgets to provide operational improvement & risk mitigation > Strategic Planning
  • Design, build, validate, and maintain data entry systems, databases, and reports to support data analysis > Data Analysis

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor degree and 5+ years of relevant experience with a focus on data analytics and process optimization
  • Experience in a Manufacturing process improvement preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Mini-Tab or JMP Statistical Software knowledge
  • VBA (Visual Basics for Applications) and Macro Development Knowledge
  • Advanced database development skills (SQL & Qlikview experience preferred)
