                 Purpose of the Position

The main purpose of this position is support service, repair and preventive maintenance of the full range of Videojet Industrial (inkjet, TTO, Laser & LPA, etc) equipment of customers in Singapore.

Execute preventive maintenance jobs for all customers as stipulated in the service contracts
On-time preventive maintenance service execution as per plan.
Quick and timely response to onsite service requests of customers for VJ equipment.  
# of customer service visits completed weekly
Provide good and effective trouble shooting and repair of VJ equipment.
# of first time onsite repair success.
Provide good service and technical advice to ensure customer satisfaction.
# of customer compliments
# of customer complaints
Provide basic user training and basic maintenance procedures to end-users
# of customer training conducted
Provide new equipment installation services
# of new installations completed
  • Provide equipment sales support (e.g. equipment set up for demo, sample printing)
  • Handle any customer service enquiries.
  • Continuously improving technical knowledge on VJ equipment.
  • VOC – ensuring local market demands are fed back into the SEA marketing team.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements


  1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • A technical qualification with a NTC/Diploma.
    Work Experience:
  • 1 – 3 years of technical equipment servicing experience.
  • Experience in sales of service contracts and equipment supplies.
  • Dealt with customers at all levels, particularly in manufacturing environments
  • Understands our customers, has sold into part of our customer base: Food, Beverage, Pharma, Household, Extrusion, Wire & Cable, Automotive etc
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin
  • Experience with complex industrial or commercial printers servicing (Copiers is also applicable)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Malay
Knowledge/Skills Required:
  • Good time planning and organization.
  • Ability to cope with pressure.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Monitoring and strong follow-up with customers
  • Class 3 license
