Description

As a Customer Returns Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the functions for all product returns. Inspect product and perform general quality inspection tasks, as required per Standard Operating Procedures. This position relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the essential duties.

You will also be accountable for the following:

•Receive and unpack all incoming customer returns.  
•Perform general quality inspections on returned product to determine re-stocking status.  This includes visual inspection for packaging integrity and lot revision verification for re-stocking verification.
•Communicate with other internal departments to complete the process of customer returns.  
•Return all products related to customer complaints that require quality assurance inspection, to the Calabasas office.
•Properly dispose of any contaminated products in the hazardous waste container. 
•Document part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and customer information on all appropriate forms.
•Act as back-up to Receiving and Distribution Clerks.
•Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
•Act as one of the primary backups for the receptionist.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); some college preferred.
• Two years related clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and                   experience. 

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to read, understand and retain extensive working knowledge of procedures and          company documents.
• MS-Office Applications. Volusion E-Commerce, Syteline ERP preferred.
• Knowledge of computer files management.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Able to produce positive results with a strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-              task.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines.
