Description

Title: FP&A Coordinator

Location:  São Paulo

Reporting line: Global FP& A Manager
Dotted line: Controller, Brazil

About The Role

We are looking for an FP&A Leader to join our Brazil  finance team. Based in São Paulo, you will report to the Global FP& A Manager, but work very closely with the local function leaders. You will balance multiple projects, at once and partner with various operating groups. The ideal candidate is analytical, motivated, resourceful and eager to dive into the data.

As a FP& A Coordinator You Will Enjoy Doing:

  • Serve as primary finance partner to the Country Leader, understanding and driving key elements of the business to achieve financial goals
  • Work directly with Country Leader and local Controller to provide financial support in the areas of monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Lead the month end close process; P&L/balance sheet management, monthly/quarterly accruals, understanding of all accounting controls and processes, etc.
  • Management and development of more junior financial associates, as appropriate
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to internal and external customers as needed

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years finance/accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls and policy work
  • Ability to lead change and ensure business continuity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical skill set should include: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point), Totys System
  • Result oriented; proactive; and possesses a high level of integrity
  • Must demonstrate overall business acumen and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
