Description

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Contracts Manager will analyze and negotiate contracts between Danaher Water Quality operating companies and suppliers, customers, partners, consultants, and others; Partner with field and corporate sales, purchasing, and other internal stakeholders to understand and deliver contract needs; Identify and track key performance indicators to drive improvements.


Responsibilities:

  • Act in capacity of operating company liaison with customer purchasing department to establish mutually acceptable terms and conditions when issuing new contracts
  • Act in capacity of operating company liaison with Corporate Insurance representatives and Risk Management to establish mutually acceptable insurance requirements
  • Utilize document tracking (including contract lifecycle management systems)
  • May be responsible for managing legal review for segments of the platform


Job Requirements



Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting, English/Literature/Writing, Business, Business Law or related focus required;
  • JD preferred;
  • Desired 4-5+ years’ experience in contracts or purchasing departments or as a paralegal or in business law with an emphasis in contract drafting and review (including experience with contractual, indemnification and insurance concepts) or related field preferred.
  • Business & Technical knowledge of key contract terms and legal issues in contracts
  • French preferred

Travel:
  • Moderate travel (<25%) is required in North America and Europe.

Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.
