Job Summary

Responsible for installing, configuring, modifying, and repairing Pall F&B Systems (products and equipment). Also responsible for identifying and correct problems associated with start-up, and ongoing maintenance, always maintaining Pall’s commercial interests in mind. Support on selecting test specifications for pilot units ensuring testing procedures are in compliance with Pall’s standards.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

The incumbent executes the responsibilities to drive profitable delivery of Pall’s Advanced Separation Systems with the following specific duties and objectives:

• Tests, commissions, and services Pall F&B Systems (products and equipment) under the direction of Project Manager. Systems include the specific Pall Separation product integrated into a complete process system, utilizing tanks, pumps, compressors, drives, automated valves, process + analytical instrumentation interfaced to a PLC-based control with HMI.

• Tests and troubleshoots all systems hardware based on established designs.

• Tests and troubleshoots PLC and HMI software, based on established specifications.

• Determines modifications to existing systems according to instructions to ensure proper installation of equipment.

• Maintains a positive relationship with customer. Makes sound technical decisions to meet customer requirements, while maintaining Pall’s commercial interests.

• Completes time tracking, site visit reports, expense reports and other business related documents both timely and accurately.

• Performs all tests in compliance with applicable Pall, site and industrial safety practices.

• Performs other related activities as required.

• Understands and complies with all company safety and quality policies and procedures as related to this position, including reading all relevant safety literature, using the required protective equipment and practicing good housekeeping.

Job Requirements



• Engineer / Technologist or Technician background in Mechanical / Electrical or related areas, with a minimum of three years of applicable technical experience working the most of time at customer site on industrial and process plants for industries in general, preferably Wine, Beer or Food plants.

• Advance knowledge of Automation and Controls, specially Siemens platform , Rockwell platform desirable.

• Previous experience in field with maintenance and electrical or mechanical equipment, as well start up and commissioning process.

• Advanced skills in English.

• Travel availability for whole Americas 70% of the time.

Desired experience with:

• Outlook, SAP or other ERP, Microsoft Office Package, MS Project, AutoCad 2D, Database Software.
