  • Support the establishment and revision of raw material specifications per customer requirements;
  • Support the raw material evaluation process
  • Develop and maintain technically approved manufacturer/raw material list
  • Resolve R&D discrepancies related to raw materials
  • Complete new raw material data on raw material worksheet
  • Support raw material specification review process; maintain current supplier specifications
  • Respond to supplier specification exceptions
  • Maintain continuity of supplier mergers and acquisitions
  • Verify bulk raw material standard density data
  • Compile and maintain raw material physical properties data
  • Assign Field Trial XP numbers and maintain MSDS files
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the following software:  Excel, PowerPoint, Word, TK, Outlook, and Internet/Intranet
  • Prepare monthly reports and customer service reports
  • Familiarity with ISO processes
  • Maintain Manufacturer Code Maintenance database
  • Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs on required certifications
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in existing procedures, create new procedures based on changes in technology or to improve efficiency, and review procedures for accuracy
  • Maintain a clean lab area and lab equipment and return items to appropriate storage areas
  • Ensure safe working environment at all times and participate in safety training programs

  • good writing and communication skills
  • Bachelor degree in college chemistry or in related science field or relevant industrial experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ laboratory experience.
  • Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell
  • Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.
  • Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
