Develop and maintain the Level Loaded Plan and material buying for manufacturing of multiple value streams according to the Six Sigma statistical model.  Host a monthly review meeting with Operations and Materials to review control charts, SIOP forecasts and jointly take decisions for any amendments to the Level Load plan.  Maintenance of SAP Master Data to support smooth operation in the plant and seamless interface through SAP with our customers.  Duties include reviewing and releasing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems. This position is also responsible for buying materials to support the Pensacola operations.   Assists with the overall production plan through the proper utilization of ERP systems and other internal planning processes.  This position interfaces with internal customers and Pall Customer Service, regarding specific orders. Gather, analyze, and report data trends that correlate or depict plant KPI for Media Supermarket      

• Monitor systems that provide open order reports.

• Develop and distribute level load plan or work orders to departments.

• Review documents, such as level load, production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities

• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands. Create inventory targets and maintain levels as established.

• Confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.

• Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.

• Plan all “make to order” (MTO) media requirements to fill MTO position in LL in corresponding value stream  to support conversion and open orders.

• Buy and plan raw materials inventory to levels that meet plant goals and objectives on inventory dollars

• Review and approve purchase part requirements daily (quantity and delivery).  Distribute for purchase order processing; perform purchase order entry as needed; resolve purchase order problems and conduct follow-up activities as necessary to finalize and confirm purchase order transactions.

• Ensure all materials and services are received at Pall Pensacola to the standards defined in the relevant supply agreements/contracts which will support manufacturing needs.

• Daily monitoring of the KANBAN replenishing system at Pall Pensacola.

• Confer with personnel, vendors, or customers to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.

• Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.

• Record production data, including volume produced consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures.

• Interface with SAP Data Steward, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Systems and Finance to maintain documentation and SAP Master Data as it pertains to production planning and customer interface in placing orders.

• Assure Visual Boards are updated daily, or as needed, and identify opportunities to enhance the visual factory.

• Manage supermarket replenishment program and safety levels required by using SPC, control charts of both demand and inventory, SIOP forecasts, publish report on a monthly basis to ensure On Time Delivery to customers.

• Conduct regular meetings with Operations to discuss monthly LL plans and any signals that require modifications to the level load either from control charts or SIOP forecasts.

• Develop and monitor manufacturing capacity analysis and make recommendations to Operations.

• Maintain Job related procedures with current revision and provide training to end-users.

• Complies with all ISO and applicable regulatory and company requirements.

• Maintain KPI historical data, reports, and trend charts associates with position.

Job Requirements


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering , Materials Management or Business Administration.

• APICS Certification (CSCP, CPIM) preferred

• Green Belt Certification preferred

• 3-5 years planning and purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

• Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all departments and levels of management

• Result driven and detail oriented with strong analytical abilities

• Active listener giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate

• Time management skills managing one's own time and the time of others
