Description

Purpose of Position

Design, develop and manage information technology (IT) solutions that meet the reporting needs of the business.  Work closely with IT management and subject matter experts to develop reporting and dashboard solutions that facilitate business-based questioning, decision-making and other process improvements.

Essential Functions
  • Provide development and support of reporting and dashboard solutions
  • Assist in developing and maintaining ETL solutions
  • Work with a cross-functional team to support and maintain our global data warehouse
  • Manage small to medium sized IT related projects 
  • Design and develop solutions that meet the needs of our internal customers
  • Develop detailed and comprehensive test plans
  • Work with business associates and IT management to design and document project scope and specifications
  • Work independently on assigned projects and tasks, effectively using other resources as needed 
  • Support the technical needs of our internal customers in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using various reporting tools
Other Non-Essential Functions
  • Provide input into IT standards and SOPs and follow established standards
  • Open and work internal and external service requests 

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related fields; will consider experience in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years experience working with relational databases 
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
  • Strong SQL skills 
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and reporting tools. Noetix, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, Qlik Sense and Power BI preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite data models and reporting tools a plus
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, SQL Server Integration Services, Informatica etc.
  • Basic understanding of desktop operating systems and network communication protocols
  • Basic understanding of PC hardware and peripherals
