Summary
of Position:



Drive
the identification, development and closing of High Resolution – Accurate
Mass MS (HRMS) opportunities for regional growth within the advanced segments
of the Pharma / BioPharma (80%) and Academia Omics (20%) markets.  This
person will work with sales representatives, the applications team, the Market
Development Managers and regional and national sales management to drive opportunities
and market growth.







Key
Responsibilities:


 


Owns:



  • Identification,
    development and closing of new HRMS business opportunities in below
    markets within the assigned region


    • BioPharma/CRO/Biotech markets (70%)

    • Select advanced quantitative workflows as they
      relate to new/developing SCIEX business in Biopharma (10%)

    • Advanced
      segments of the academic market (Proteomics, Metabolomics and
      Lipidomics) (20%)


  • Push for
    business in collaboration with local sales representatives and Regional
    Sales Manager (RSM)

  • Win-rate
    improvement by collaborative sales process with territory sales
    representative in target markets

  • Work with
    Market Development Managers (MDM) in associated vertical to drive
    opportunities and quarterly sales initiatives, e.g. local seminars, lunch/learns,
    regional conferences…

  • Maintain
    latest information on key workflows/market trends and incorporate into
    local sales strategies

  • Collect
    Voice of Customer (VOC) and market information feedback to
    associated MDM

  • Manage key
    demos for associated opportunities including pre-positioning, data
    review, and data presentation formats

  • Interface
    w/ SCIEX Applications team to support optimization/execution of
    technical demonstration activities for associated markets/workflows

  • Work with
    applications support team to optimize demo process for associated
    workflows

  • Coordination/delivery
    of strategic support for key workflow development at customer sites

  • Work with
    MDMs to leverage existing regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for sales,
    and own management of scientific support for identified regional KOLs

  • Develop
    existing regional HRMS user base and leverage as local sales references

  • Identify,
    establish, and own support management of key advanced quantitative
    customers in region

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Ph.D
    level technical degree in life sciences
  • 5 years
    hands on LC MS experience; direct experience/knowledge in associated
    markets. HRMS experience a plus.
