Manufacturing Associate.Manufacturing.Instrument Manufacturing.Associate.None Position Summary: To produce Immunoprotein and diagnostic reagents to the highest possible quality standards with accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices, while maintaining all quality specifications, cost and delivery requirements. To support the Fill/Kit Team Lean in coordinating all training to ensure that the training methods/plans are in compliance with regulatory bodies Essential Job Functions (listing most important first): 1. The timely and efficient filling, kitting and packaging of diagnostic Reagents in accordance with the appropriate manufacturing documentation and specifications, while maintaining compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices, internal procedures and quality standards 2. The scheduling of training, the recording and control of training plans/records, the assessment of the effectiveness of training and the identification of GMP issues through the review of NCMR�s while maintaining compliance to all training procedures 3. Operation of variety of label printing, label application, filling and capping equipment used in the production of Diagnostic Reagents in accordance with manufacturing documentation, GMP and internal procedures 4. Ensure the appropriate autoclaved clothing and sterile gloves are worn during the filling, capping and labeling of ICS reagents 5. Continuous monitoring of production processes and equipment through the completion of in-process fill checks, torque checks, label placement checks and barcode label print quality checks 6. Responsible for the setup and operation of label printing and label application equipment used in the labeling of Diagnostic Reagent kit boxes Essential Job Requirements: EDUCATION Leaving Certificate or equivalent. EXPERIENCE 5 years experience working in the Reagent department, preferably in Fill/Kit. A good knowledge of current practices within Fill/Kitt and familiarity with GMP requirements. REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to read and understand detailed procedures and documents/drawings. General machine aptitude, good manual dexterity. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify problems and take corrective action. Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment are essential PREFERRED SKILLS Strong communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to be comfortable working with computers are a preresquite for this role
