This incumbent will be supporting the administrative and expediting aspect for projects. As a core member of the team, this incumbent plays an important role to work independently and collaboratively in supporting the project buyers in the team. This is a one year contractual role.

• Support RFQ activities
• Process purchase requisitions.
• Expedite material orders to meet project timelines
• Work with finance and logistic team to resolve any invoice or receipt discrepancies.
• Work closely with First Article team to support on any FA requests and queries.
• Involve in material transfer to manufacturing.
• Maintain material accuracy through Microsoft Excel or Word for project materials.
• Send engineering design packages to suppliers.
• Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements


• Min. NITEC in Mechanical Engineering/Procurement, with 1-2 years of planning/purchasing experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment 

• Internal SCIEX/Danaher contingent with minimum 1 to 2 years of experience with good performance / Graduate or undergraduate of accredited supply chain management institution.

• Good working experience with Oracle and Microsoft Office Excel (pivots, Vlookups), MS Word.

• Very organized and able to independently pursue concurrent resolution of multiple issues.

• Must have very strong skills in conflict resolution, problem solving/decision making, influencing, managing, and meeting deadlines.

• Independent and ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Immediate availability will be advantageous.
