Description

  • Achieve assigned sales targets
  • Negotiating price quoted and finalizing the deal in consultation with regional manager
  • Converting enquiries into orders
  • Meet sales productivity and win rate targets
  • Keep up with market developments through formal / informal sources and keep superiors posted
  • Develop and nurture healthy customer relations
  • Updating of sales activity and progress of potential deals as per defined systems
  • Provide necessary technical information for customs clearance
  • Provide support to Credit Collections team for recovery of payment, agency commission and EMD
  • Coach junior members of the team
  • Work closely with marketing to improve funnel health and win rate

Job Requirements



Qualifications


  • Graduate in Biotechnology, Bio chemistry, Analytical chemistry or life sciences
  • Post graduate in management from a good B school
  • Min 6-7 years of experience in a B2B, commercial/Corporate sales for high value capital products.
  • Knowledge of Tendering is a mandatory requirement
  • Exposure to sales of mass spectrometry or related instruments (GC, LCMS) is highly desirable; experience in sales of high value capital equipment is essential
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation) and good command over the English Language
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience and ability to build relationships, influence people; good negotiation and interpersonal skills
