Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:

Responsible for the provision of telephone, in-house and on-site technical support and training on company products, thereby contributing substantially to customer satisfaction.

Support sales in the achievement of the orders plan by providing demonstrations, sample analysis and technical information in a timely and professional manner. 

Provision of internal technical support and training. Support Service in efficient solving of customer escalations.

Interact with Sales & Service. Loc. & Eur. Mrkt, PM & R&D in US for ESPOC and Network co-ordinator,

European Support Team Member internally as well as Prospects and customers at all levels externally.

•Acquire and maintain practical and technical knowledge for the efficient application support of customers, Sales and Service.  Keep updated on the scientific community.

•Provides efficient and successful pre-sales support to Sales through customer visits, product/application demonstrations, seminars/lectures/workshops and sample analysis.

•Provides post-Sales Support, in -house and on -site training, visiting customers and telephone support in a timely and professional manner and by increasing customer satisfaction. Preparation & delivery of efficient and successful user meetings as well as customer training. Provides follow-up support to customers.

•Gathers, analyzes and delivers information from the field to local and European Sales & Marketing on competitive activity, market conditions and product opportunities to allow the Company to develop strategies and products appropriated to the market and to make full use of market opportunities.

•Liaise with European and Global Network to solve customer problems quickly and efficiently.  Provide feedback on technical problems and their respective solutions to ESPOCs and Networks.


Job Requirements


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

•Academic degree (PhD or equivalent experiences) in Chemistry or Life Sciences

•Good working knowledge of mass spectrometry itself and related analytical techniques like LC-MS/MS in a current field of LC/MS/MS analysis.

•High degree of technical competence & confidence and ability to interface with the scientific community at all levels.

•Excellent communication & presentation skills.

•Willingness to travel (internationally).

•Computer and internet knowledge.

•Good verbal and written English and German language. Any other languages known is beneficial.
