Description

Project coordinator is responsible for activities supporting new system development program management. This position will support activities for complex, global, multi- team programs; including organizing, tracking, and analyzing key control metrics for program. The project coordinator will drive improvements to standard work that spans across the program to assure program milestone achievement and enhance visualization, communication, and recognition. Lead subprojects to assure on-time delivery of critical program activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate information gathering, collect data, review, and prepare monthly metric, KPI, and reports. Must be able to audit, interpret and understand complex data to ensure validity and accuracy of key reporting requirements.
  • Define, drive, and track execution of action plans as need to support the program.
  • Coordinate and organize regular program communication, recognition or information sharing events by scheduling meetings and setting up for events.
  • Assist in development and implementation of various tools for project tracking and management.
  • Assist in implementation and driving consistency of DBS tools and processes across the department. May participate in Kaizen events.
  • Works with moderate supervision

  • Analytics – must have strong data analysis skills with ability to interpret and present data according to internal customer needs

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to define project plans and drive teams to successful execution. Need strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be action oriented and results driven. Attention to detail is critical to ensure reports and updates to management contain accurate and up-to-date information.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science, Business, Finance, Management or related field, preferred.  A candidate with significant relative work experience, without a bachelor’s degree will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2- 5 years of relevant work experience in project management is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
  • Ability to learn new tools/techniques quickly
  • Experience using lean/virtual tools for project tracking and management desirable
  • Lean tool knowledge and/or business analytics skills is desirable
  • Ability to influence others and accomplish tasks without direct authority
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills required
