Description

In this role you will work directly with the contracting team in developing offers, RFP’s, Bids, addendum, amendments and driving execution of contracts and deal approvals where considerable judgment, analysis and initiative are critical. 
You will be responsible for the development of error proof contract documents while maintaining high attention to detail. You will also be able to provide insight and business recommendations based on deal analysis. Your responsibilities include identifying any discrepancy or potential gaps in the deal elements and focusing on continuously improving the process; recommending solutions and sharing best practices. 
Responsible for reviewing redlines of contract terms and conditions in close coordination with legal, sales and direct customer interaction for timely turn around time (TAT). The role will maintain close collaboration with other departments/stakeholders, including sales, sales management, operations, client on-boarding, legal and finance. You will need to know how to work independently as well as in a team environment. We are looking forward to partnering with you.
How will you contribute to the team?
  • Review of proposal details to ensure compliance to company policies, GPO’s terms and pricing guidelines to support profitable sales growth.
  • Advises sales on handling objections, alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closures.
  • Assist sales and support staff in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and drive for improvements.
  • Collaborate with impacted parties to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closures.
  • Build strong partnerships with cross functional peers and superiors to ensure overall streamlined process and champion contract policy and procedure revisions.
  • Ensures collaboration with Legal, Finance, Service, Marketing, and IT on contract matters as relevant.
  • Is a sales advocate & partner to internal organizations to understand sales issues.
  • Participate in complex assignments where independent judgment, action and initiative are necessary.
  • Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Education
  • High-school degree required with 6 years of experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • At least 6 years working in Sales Operations, Customer Service, Contracting, Quoting, or Pricing
  • Strong organizational skills, strategic thinker and problem solver, time management skills and ability to self-manage in a complex / time sensitive environment are required.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and multi-task workload. 
  • Work well in a cross-functional environment serving as a technical subject matter expert and build support across a complex set of stakeholders is required. A voice for our sales partner.
  • Interest in learning the products and offerings, strategies and business objectives.
  • Ownership of process and driving adherence to protocols and business rules is a requirement.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel including pivot tables, vlookups and standard functions is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word including track changes and doc compare is required.
  • Proven ability to read and understand terms and conditions of a contract required for proper administration and compliance.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, pay attention to details while ensuring accuracy, having strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards.
  • Experience with the Oracle or other ERP system is favorable.
