The Site Operations Accounting Manager is responsible for the management of the books for the site.  This includes the month end close, annual budgeting process and forecasting based on corporate guidelines.  Assures company compliance with internal and external financial policies

  • Partners with Plant Manager of site to provide pertinent data to establish Operational and Financial goal alignment and drive towards results.    
  • Prepares weekly flash, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting analytical review to Global Media Site Controller and VP of Global Media Operations.
  • Responsible for the site’s adherence to Pall policies, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.   
  • Leads financial closing process for site ensuring all deliverable dates are met, 
  • Maintains a high level Operational understanding of the value streams within the site and the financial components of the value streams (Volume, overhead cost, labor cost, standards, yields, productivity, etc.)
  • Attends daily morning meeting as Finance Leader, ensuring Operational activities discussed are appropriately accounted for financially.  
  • Prepares and presents daily/weekly/monthly financial results (including monthly financial performance package) to site operational team.  
  • Provides analytical analysis utilizing key Operational KPIs to support financial reporting and variances to standards.
  • Coordinates and leads the preparation of the annual budget process for site including as well as analysis of the variances. This includes operational budgets at the cost center level within the site
  • Coordinates monthly forecast updates as needed 
  • Responsible for adherence to corporate policies (Inventory cycle counting, E&O, Tax Package)
  • Performs periodic review of Master Data items and coordinate material status updates as required.
  • Provide additional financial reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5-7 year experience in general/cost accounting, standard cost and manufacturing finance
  • Advanced use of Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP and HFM
  • Computer Literate; Word, advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint, Hyperion, and SAP
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. 
  • Ability to prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
  • Communication of financial results to management.
  • To work safely and to comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. (Mandatory- Do not Remove)
