Description

Job Title: Account Manager NSW Northern Region

Reports to:  Northern Regional Sales Manager

Location:  Role based in Sydney

Hours:  37.5 hrs.

Description

Account Manager (AM) is to provide sales, technical support and effective management of existing accounts in line with the territory sales management plans. The AM will actively seek out sales opportunities, customer service delivery improvements; conduct customer training and instrument installations as required.

The AM position is expected to contribute directly to customer retention and sales growth through recognition of improvements in sales opportunities and service delivery and to focus on direct business development activities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for the territory.
  • Actively identify, pursue and develop new and existing accounts in the territory. 
  • Manage existing accounts, providing support to customers in line with territory business development plans and the Radiometer LIVE customer care program.
  • Plan and schedule face-to-face account calls to current and potential end-users of Radiometer products throughout the Northern NSW territory.
  •  Visit all key accounts on regular basis in line with established territory management plans and as defined by management, attending to all duties as specified.
  •  Introduce new products and programs to existing and new customers. Provide feedback to sales and marketing management on market acceptance.
  •  Participate in business-team meetings and special projects as defined by management.
  •  Confer with Regional Sales Manager, and National Sales and Marketing Manager, regarding the handling and management of national accounts within the territory.
  •  Communicate key observations and action points pertaining to individual customer accounts to the Regional Sales Manager on a regular basis.
  •  Attend to individual customer requirements including; training, problem solving and consumable inventory management etc. in co-ordination with the NSW Clinical Application Specialists.
  •  Maintain and manage existing RPAC customer relationships, promote the Radiometer brand, proactively seek out opportunities for service delivery improvement.
  •  Document all customer related activities in the CRM as required within agreed timeframe.
  •  Liaise and work closely with Field Service Engineers as required to address specific instrument issues.
  •  Liaise with the NSW Clinical Application Specialists to assist customers with stock management and standing orders.
  •  Provide customer device training as required in co-operation with the NSW Clinical Application Specialist.
  •  Oversee instrument installation at customer’s sites in conjunction with NSW Clinical Applications specialists.
  •  Assist with instrument Installation training for customers, working with the NSW Clinical Application Specialists.
  •  Promote and support Radiometer Software solutions to new and existing customers.
  •  Provide Instrument troubling shooting to customers.
  •  Participate in Radiometer service hotline roster.
  •  Keep abreast of scientific / clinical developments as they pertain to the Radiometer product range.
  •  Attend to on line training courses that are available on the Radiometer Extranet.
  •  Complete annual Danaher compliance training and follow all Danaher policies and guidelines.
  •  Highlight and discuss short and long-term training requirements with the line manager at regular reviews.
  •   Any other duty as may be required.
